I know that Petco and Petsmart often times carry ferrets. But the ferrets are a little older. I’m interested in getting a young ferret. Any ideas where baby ferrets are available in Wisconsin?

You can try a shelter, but sometimes stores like Petco and Petsmart have older ones because they hadn’t been adopted while they were smaller. I have 3 I have gotten through Petco and of those three two of them were tiny lil ones and the other was a little larger. So, you can with keeping an eye out get one that is younger in age from the stores you will just have to watch and even call them to see how old the ferrets are. The most recent ferret we’d gotten from Petco was about 8 weeks old.
you could try calling around to pet stores and see if they have babies.. look for breeders or look on sites where people list that they sell them
look at yellowpages.com and look for a rescue center in your area or a breeding place [[both will have them]]

hope i helped!!
Do not get one they are pasts. Can you gaurentee total control? Forget it. World wide predator that should under control. They wipe out native species
Well, I was looking for a baby rabbit, and they had around 12 baby ferrets. I was at SUPERPETZ. I dont know if they have on ewere you live, but I would call some stores before you go to them, and ask them if they have some young ferrets.
Try looking @ the notice board in your local store and maybe there will be someone with a baby ferret? Good Luck
